I have a vision of further developing the painting as an engaging and exciting performance: An overhead camera records the movement around the canvas; the video images are projected onto screens behind the performers. The audience has a birds-eye view of the painting in progress and a ground level perspective of the Capoeira game, creating two planes on which the performance can be experienced.

The concept of community is at the heart of the art of Capoeira - it requires a group of at least six people for a Capoeira game to work effectively. Therefore I want this piece of work to be community-based and about people - the participants and the audience.

I have long-term plans for how I would like to develop this piece of work into different mediums, such as bas-relief moulding and computer-based work using digital sensors.
