Since April 2023 I've been working as a Senior Service Design Consultant for Opencast. As the client work that I've been doing is through Opencast, I'm unable to share too many project details (images in particular) of the work that I've been engaged with. However I can provide some high-level information about the work I've engaged in and continue to deliver.

Service design strategy for systems change, innovation & product development
Between 2019 and 2023 I was Head of Service Design in the Innovation Lab team at Barnardo's. I led a team of service designers and researchers, working closely with the senior leadership team and implementing a culture of co-production, co-design and evidence-based approaches across the wider organisation. I was responsible for the service design approach across the organisation within systems change, innovation and product development.

As a member of the service design team I developed new methodologies and tools for co-design and research with children and young people. These were designed to even out the adult/child power dynamics within a co-design environment and encourage the authentic voice of the child and young person to shine through.
